Expert Guidance

Our role as strata manager extends beyond assisting in the day to day running of the body corporate. We provide expert guidance and assistance through complex issues, for example Commissioner’s applications, disputes and building defects.

Industry Knowledge

Our strata managers regularly attend industry seminars and are active members of Strata Community Australia (Queensland), the industry’s governing body. By doing so QBS Strata Management keeps pace with industry changes. We hold in house training sessions and our managers meet regularly to discuss topical issues and challenges facing the industry. We have developed a shared wealth of experience and expertise in all aspect of community living.

Continuity

A source of concern among owners is the lack of continuity from their strata company in that they are assigned various strata managers during the term of their engagement. Our managers are assigned a sustainable portfolio of buildings on a long-term basis. This enables your strata manager to develop strong working relationships with the committee, building manager and owners and to have a thorough understanding of your needs and how your scheme operates.

Resources

We do not departmentalise the running of your Body Corporate to the point where committee members and owners are referred to different departments on each query. The strata manager assigned to your scheme is your primary contact. Each manager has a portfolio assistant who actively assists their manager in the running of the scheme. In the event that your manager is not available their PA will be able to assist with many of the standard queries and scenarios which arise in strata communities.

Workload and Communication

A constant complaint in the industry is that their strata manager is very slow to respond to queries from owners. We continually monitor each manager’s workload to ensure that they are not overloaded. By doing so the company is able to maintain high levels of service - for example we undertake that telephone calls and emails are at latest responded to by the next business day.
